T-minus 1 week to go....

Yes we have our handover date, 1 week to go. We expect there will still be some things to finish off after this, however we don't care, we just want to get in and start getting settled into the new place.

Things that are still to be done are :

kitchen splashback
Outside balustrades
automatic gates
pool fencing
turf
landscaping
a bit more painting

hopefully alot of this can be done during this week so not to many are still outstanding.

here's some pictures

Peek at the near finished floors

A quick snap of the floors. These were taken through the glass sliding doors as its all locked up and to minimise dust etc on freshly finished floors so there is a bit of reflection. 2 coats on 1 more to finish.

Quick update

We survived the big wet in Brisbane. We did evacuate our rental as the water was at the back fence but it didn't make it to the house, but we came home to a massive tree had fallen into he back yard but no real damage. The build stood up well to rain, bit of water under but given amount of rain we had and unfinished landscaping and drainage doesn't seem to bad.

Quick update...

Concreting done
Front fence started
Painting finished inside except for skirting
Floors started to be sanded today
Benchtops are supposed to go in this week
Electrical and Plumbing fitout scheduled for 5th Feb

Getting close..!

New Pool Poured

Not too much happening inside, painting seems to be going quite slowly but outside is going great guns. New pool shell poured exactly when promised. Looks great and now has to sit for a while to cure before the next steps of paving and surfacing the inside.
